Mission & Role
I joined CNF in July 2024, and at that point, the business only represented one brand - The 1:1 Diet by Cambridge Weight Plan. In fact, this was the name of the company as a whole. But at the start of 2025, what was originally CWP, transformed into CNF, birthing two new exciting brands - Serenova and Food Nutrition Partners.

This changed everything.
When I had joined, I was laser-focused on building The 1:1 Diet brand. Not only through social numbers and growing our channels, but what the brand meant to people. Creating content with real dieters, and telling stories which resonated and most of all, inspired. It's all about that at the end of the day, because how could you sell a product without inspiring people with the way it can change their lives? At the same time, as the company's first ever in-house creator, I was responsible for bringing ideas that my colleagues had been dreaming up for a while.
Collaborating with the rest of the marketing team, as well as sales, PR and HR, broadened the range of content I was responsible for producing from start to finish. From covering our biggest event in history at the convention last year, to showing off new products - variety always makes the experience more interesting (and frankly, fun). Teamwork, and effective communication has always been key. And on top of my colleagues, collaborating with agencies and freelancers to help bring our vision to life, and leading projects, has been a facet of the role I've truly enjoyed.
Furthermore, we always have a revolving door of new products coming through from factory to market. New and exciting flavors in different forms, for our dieters to enjoy and experiment with. And with these products, there needed to be plenty of content. A lot of it. From product teasers, to product ads, to paid ads, and carousels and photography. I'll be honest, this was challenging at first. My background was built on working with actors, musicians, athletes and business owners. So when it came to creating videos from inanimate objects, and doing my best to make it look appetizing, it's safe to say I was outside my comfort zone.
But a year later, and over 10 products launched and 30+ assets made, I would say I very much enjoy it now. After all, discomfort is opportunity for growth.

Now fast forward to January 2025. CWP becomes CNF, and we've launched Food Nutrition Partners - a brand focused on manufacturing products for other brands in the marketplace. We figured that we have our own factory with state-of-the-art capabilities, and knew we could do more.
And then at the same time, the countdown for the launch of Serenova was on. Whilst The 1:1 Diet focuses on physical health, Serenova's mission is to help women and men improve their mental heath through supplementation. Originally, the first products off the line were Balance & Boost, which specialized in helping women who are going through their menopause. Now a few months later, in June, we launched the Rest & Renew range to help everyone sleep just a little bit better (we all press snooze, don't we?).
We officially launched on International women's day, and since then, we've been going full steam ahead to grow and nurture the brand, and widen the range of our impact. Product launches, tutorial videos for Coaches (who provide support to our users) and expert tips & advice content to help people learn more about sleep etc. Our mission is to not only improve mental health, but to improve the understanding of health in general.
Recently, we have been heavily collaborating with Kerry Davies, an award-winning sleep expert known as one of the best in her field. The goal is to create content that educates people on the importance of sleep, and also provide tips that are practical and unique to help people sleep better. Struggling to sleep away from home? Take a pillowcase from home with you, it may help. That's just one of the many gems she's given us. And safe to say, I've been sleeping a lot better since we began this project.

That's three brands, all growing and evolving at the same time. This has no doubt provided challenges, but more than anything I view it as an opportunity to learn 3x faster. All of these brands have different USP's, with varying missions and also target audiences. Whilst creating content for social media, I also don't overlook internal content created to help everyone, the 180+ staff here, feel better connected. Important announcements, quarterly updates, and event coverage are all crucial in keeping everyone updated with the journey we are on.
I understand how beneficial content can be to create a feeling of togetherness, whether that's within the business or on our social media.
And for me, my mission is ultimately to bring everyone together with the power of digital storytelling.

The Age of AI
As you can expect, creating content for three brands at the same time means that time becomes an even more valuable resource. Very quickly, I learnt that efficiency was critical. Adding to this, with somewhat limited resources to outsource the production of content, it meant that I needed to learn about A.I and fast. Since then, almost every single product video that would usually take weeks to create, with a full studio and plenty of budget invested, has been aided by the ever-changing (and ever impressive) A.I softwares in the market.

Besides ChatGPT, we've found value in using Artlist.io, as well as Midjourney. For me, it's an exciting time to be a creative. Because I believe that A.I is not here as a threat, but as a tool that you wield to your liking. There's an expanding armory of A.I weapons, and it's up to us to choose our arsenal. To overlook it, is to overlook endless possibilities.
